Its upper leather is full grain and quilted, with a suede trim and a unique lacing system that is hidden and secured. It has a low profile Pylon midsole feature, including a heel and a Zoom Air forefoot unit plus a carbon fiber composite plate on its midfoot. It has a solid rubber outsole with pods of a herringbone design for an optimal design pattern. The Retro XIII features the hologram signature on the ankle part and it was said that the design was inspired by a panther.
The Jordan Retro 13 design is a retro version of Michael Jordan’s shoe when he got his first ever double three peat. Following the speed and prowess of a panther (reflective eye), the outsole pads is made resembling a paw while the circles looks like to be the whiskers.
